Reddit Bounty Program: Your Questions Answered

The Reddit bounty has been buzzing, and this update will help you understand how it works, who can join, and what’s changed. Thanks to all the GoMiners contributing so far!

The goal remains simple: building a strong, active r/gomining sub. You’ve probably already noticed that the subreddit feels more like a vibrant and welcoming community; that’s the whole point of this bounty, so let’s keep sharing, learning, and growing!

On August 19th, we’ll be pausing the Reddit bounty to make some updates. But before then, let’s go over the basic rules of the program.

Ground Rules Recap:

• You can earn 100–200 bounty points for only one approved post per week.
• If you get 100 points, it’s not “missing points” — that’s the award that was allocated to your post.
• If your post isn’t very unique, it will get fewer points. If your posts are about your personal experiences, concerns, or tips, you’ll get higher points. You can also post memes and GoMining-inspired videos!
• You can only get rewards on one good post per week — so focus on quality, not quantity.

How to Get Posting Access (even if You Don’t Qualify for the Bounty)

Want to post on r/gomining? Here’s what you need:

• 1TH+ Digital Miner
• Fill out the Reddit Post Access Form with your GoMining ID & Reddit username
• Pass the moderators’ review

Why some accounts don’t pass:

• No visible Reddit activity or history
• Low-effort or spammy comments
• Age-restricted account
• No track record of helpful, fun, or meaningful contributions

💡 Tip: Engage before you apply. Leave comments that help, start good discussions, and show you’re part of the community.

Operational Updates

We’ve seen a few trends since launch:

• Many users applying without meeting the requirements
• Qualified users forgetting to submit their post to the bounty bot
• Multiple form submissions creating a backlog

📌 To keep things smooth:

• Check you qualify before applying
• Remember to submit your weekly post to the bounty bot after you’ve posted it on Reddit
• Avoid duplicate submissions

The bounty isn’t about posting more — it’s about posting better.

Starting August 19th, we’ll be pausing the Reddit bounty to make some updates. Points will be distributed to the eligible posts made before August 19th.
