AMA Recap: April Townhall — Roadmap, Leagues & What’s Next

We recently wrapped up the April 2025 GoMining Townhall, and it was loaded with major updates and insights.

With the main speaker Dan Otryvanoff (GoMining’s Chief Product Officer), and host Yann Barry (Community Lead), the session was a deep dive into how GoMining is evolving its product, gameplay, and strategy — both for individual users and with the launch of GoMining Institutional.

From the much-anticipated Miner Wars leagues to a roadmap for GoMining Academy, wallet upgrades, and a bold 25M TH target, here’s what’s new at GoMining.

Highlights from the AMA

🔥 1. Miner Wars Leagues

The biggest gameplay update to date. Starting April 22, clans will be grouped into four competitive leagues: Dune → Horizon → Eclipse → Odyssey, each with unique reward multipliers and tokenomics structures.Leagues aim to:

Create fairer competition
Multiply winners 4x per round
Help more users stay profitable. Also introduced: a built-in strategy bot for automation and a new round of spells and mini-games coming later this year.

🔥 2. GoMining Academy Launching Summer 2025

A new educational layer with the GoMining ecosystem with three core courses:

Product Mastery (understanding TH, energy efficiency, payouts)
Crypto Fundamentals (wallet safety, scam avoidance)
Bitcoin Mining Insights (history, future trends) Courses will be linked to bonus miner rewards and accessible through interactive lessons, quizzes, and tasks.

🔥 3. Virtual Wallet Overhaul + GoMining Card

New sidebar UI, saveable withdrawal addresses, and consolidated transaction views have already rolled out.Next up:

Manual (but commission-free) BTC withdrawals
Permanent deposit addresses
Stablecoin support (USDT, USDC)
GoMining Payment Cards, launching first in Europe, allows users to spend BTC rewards instantly via a virtual or physical card.

🔥 4. New Incentive Systems: Loot Boxes, Raffles, VIPs

Opt-in raffles now ensure active participation.
Loot boxes launching in June will be tied to tasks, VIP upgrades, and competition milestones.
Rewards include TH boosts, EE upgrades, promo codes, bonus days, NFTs, avatar keys, and more.

🔥 5. Developer & Institutional Features

Upcoming API access will let users and partners interact with GoMining data, portfolio tools, and integrate mining infrastructure into external systems.
Aimed at launching "hash rate as a service" — a key unlock for institutional partnerships.

🎉 GoMining Turns Four: What We’ve Achieved

Dan also took a moment to reflect on GoMining’s growth since April 2024, ahead of our upcoming Anniversary:

“We welcomed 2.2 million new registrations and added over 100,000 new NFT holders — a fourfold increase from last year.”

Right now:

— The community has reached 7.2 million TH, double the previous year

— Terahash remains the core asset, and scaling institutional onboarding is central to 10x-ing from here

Key Questions Answered

How are the 256x BTC blocks handled across leagues?

Dan Otryvanoff (CPO, GoMining):

“Each league will have a separate logic and game rounds. So for example, a 256x block in Horizon won’t be the same multiplier in another league. They all work as standalone games—with their own BTC and GoMining prize funds.”

“At the end of each cycle, top 3 clans move up a league, and bottom 3 drop. That’s the only cross-over.”

This addresses concerns over reward dilution as leagues roll out.

Are these updates part of GoMining’s 25M TH goal for Q3?

Dan:

“We’re simplifying the integration flow for institutions and venture funds—giving them easier access to our features. That’s where the API, wallet redesign, and hash rate-as-a-service come in.”

“25M TH by Q3 is ambitious, but we have a strong dev team working on it daily. That’s our focus.”

Will we be able to compare solo mining vs. clan rewards?

Some GoMining users are unsure where they earn the most. This is part of a wider push for transparency in reward tracking.

Dan:

“Yes, that’s one of the UX improvements coming this year. Users will be able to see where their rewards come from, how they’re spending, and whether they’re in profit. That includes comparing solo vs. clan mining.”

Will community voting return, and can we use GoMining tokens to vote?

In reference to the previously paused community governance system.

Dan:

“We’re bringing it back. And we’re upgrading it. Soon, you’ll be able to vote with your in-app GoMining votes. We’re already seeing a 200% increase in token holders thanks to the VIP program.”

Will we be able to split hash rate between solo and Miner Wars?

This echoed repeated community requests about flexibility in mining strategy.

Dan:

“We’re working on a sub-account system. That will let users create multiple internal farms and wallets — for solo, game modes, or even budgeting. It’s all in the roadmap for this year.”

Currently, users are limited to one account. Sub-accounts would give strategic flexibility without breaking KYC rules.
