🎉 Raffles Just Got an Upgrade: More Visibility, Fairness, and Better Odds

Weekly raffles are evolving, now with three major upgrades you’ll love.

In the past, winners walked away with GoMining Avatars — some held onto them, others sold theirs for as much as $6,000. 

Now, we're adding some interesting improvements and new features that make every draw clearer, fairer, and more rewarding for participants.

Starting April 8, we’re launching an updated raffle with an Upgrade Key up for grabs. Then, on April 10, we’re taking it up a notch with raffles for conference passes to the Bitcoin Conference in Las Vegas! 🎰

But before you enter, here’s what’s changed and why it matters.

What is the Upgrade Key Raffle?

It’s a recurring GoMining raffle where users can win a GoMining Avatar key (a high-value digital asset that some users hold on to or flip).

To qualify:

— You need to spend at least $10 on any power or energy efficiency upgrade to your digital miner.

— Your chance of winning is based on how much you spent vs. the total pool. E.g. spend $100 when the total pool is $10,000 → you have a 1% chance.

— Previously, entries were automatic — if you upgraded, you were in automatically.

What’s Changing (Starting April 8)?

1. You choose when to enter if you want to

Raffle entries are no longer automatic. Now, you click “Participate” in your dashboard to join.

That simple change means one big thing: Only participants who are really interested will get in.

No random entries. No wasted wins.

In previous raffles, 25% of winners never claimed their prize. That’s less likely to happen now.

2. Tickets are visible to all users

After upgrading, every participant now receives a ticket with a unique number. All issued tickets are publicly visible, so you know exactly how many entries there are and which ticket is yours.

This added visibility lays the foundation for the next key upgrade.

3. The draw is fully transparent (thanks, blockchain!)

The raffle results are now verifiable on-chain.

Here’s what’s made public:

— Every ticket issued

— The winning ticket

— The logic behind how it was selected

Now, how to enter:

1. Go to your dashboard
2. Find the active raffle
3. Click “Participate” 

That’s it.
