GoMining has built up a lot of ways to earn more than just BTC from mining. There's the Referral Program, VIP tiers, the Bounty Program, raffles, GoBoxes, discounts for using the GOMINING token, and a few other things spread across different parts of the app.
Here's a guide to all our relevant promotions: what each one actually does for you, and how to get the most out of it. Let's break it down!
Bonus Miner
The moment you register in the GoMining app, you get a free trial digital bitcoin miner. No setup, no purchase decision to make first: it starts generating BTC rewards right away, so you can see how mining actually works before committing any money to it.
From there, tasks let you grow it. Some are available from day one (things like exploring the app or checking out a feature), others unlock once you've bought your first real miner or upgraded one, so the tasks kind of grow alongside you.
Most rewards need to be claimed manually: once you've completed a task, there's a Claim button waiting on the task card, and a timer next to it. Miss the window, and the reward is gone for good, so it's worth checking back on active tasks rather than letting them sit.
Referral Program
Share your referral link or code in our Referral program, and you start earning every time a friend uses the platform, not just when they sign up. You get a royalty on their miner purchases and upgrades, what they spend on Miner Wars boosts, and 10% of their Simple Earn rewards.
Your mining royalty grows with your VIP level: 5% at Bronze, up to 15% at Legend and Elite. On top of that, you also earn an electricity royalty ($0.005 per kWh) for as long as your friends' miners stay active, no matter your own VIP level.
Your friends benefit too: up to +5% mining power on their first purchase (up to 25 TH), a free month of Platinum+, and $20 in mining power once their Card spend hits $100.
P.S. Outside the app, people sometimes call referral codes "promo codes." Same thing, different name.
VIP Program
GoMining offers multiple levels of the VIP status to all the users. The actual level is based on whichever is highest for you: mining power (TH), veGOMINING votes, or referral activity. Everyone starts at Bronze I automatically the moment they register.
Climbing tiers unlocks real perks: a maintenance fee discount, GoMining Card cashback, Travel cashback, a boost to your Simple Earn rewards, better Launchpad allocations, and the referral royalty rate from above. Want the exact numbers for your level? Check your current VIP status in your Profile in the GoMining app.
One thing to keep in mind: status isn't locked in. Since it's tied to your TH, votes, and referral activity, it can drop just as easily as it climbs if those numbers change.
GoBoxes
Hit a new VIP level for the first time, and a GoBox is waiting for you: a digital box loaded with a pool of possible prizes, tokens, bonus miner days, GoMiners keys, and more, matched to that tier. They also show up as prizes in some raffles, so leveling up isn't the only way to land one. What you get is picked using Bitcoin blockchain data, so it's random in a way nobody, including GoMining, can rig.
Just don't let it sit too long: you've got 7 days to open it before it expires, so it's worth a quick check whenever you level up.
Raffles and Contests
In GoMining, raffles run alongside whatever you're already doing. Buying a digital miner, upgrading it, using Simple Earn: depending on the raffle's rules, those actions rack up tickets automatically, no extra steps needed. Just remember to hit Take part in the GoMining app to confirm you're actually in. Then at the end, a winner gets drawn using Bitcoin block hash data, the same transparent method behind GoBoxes.
Contests work a bit differently. Instead of tickets, you climb a leaderboard by completing contest tasks, and whoever's on top when the contest wraps up takes the win.
A heads-up: some raffles and contests are only open from a certain VIP level up, so it's worth checking the conditions before counting yourself in.
GOMINING Token Discounts
Here's an easy one: pay your miner maintenance fees in GOMINING tokens instead of other currencies, and you get up to 20% off, stacked right on top of your VIP maintenance discount.
Simple Earn TH Bonus
Simple Earn usually pays out in BTC, but now you've got another option: take those rewards as mining power (TH) instead, added straight to a miner of your choosing once a day. Right now, GoMining is even sweetening the deal with a 10% bonus on top of anything converted this way (worth noting: that's a current promotional rate, not something baked in permanently).
A couple of conditions apply. Your chosen miner needs to be in good standing (not listed for sale, no active Mine Now Pay Later plan), running at 20 W/TH efficiency or better, and have room left to grow. And if you ever change your mind, switching back and forth between BTC and TH rewards is just a tap away.
GoMiners Avatars
GoMiners are a collection of avatars you can attach to your account, and they're not just cosmetic. Each one comes with a permanent discount on digital miner purchases and power upgrades, plus early access to new collections and a welcome merch pack for your first hero. On top of that, each collection also has its own unique perk, from fee cuts to Miner Wars boosts to a lift on your Simple Earn rewards, so the extra edge you get depends on which one you hold. There are 10 collections planned in total, 100 avatars each, and 5 are live so far.
There are two ways to get one: unlock an avatar with an access key (earned through ecosystem achievements or found in GoBoxes), or skip the wait and buy one directly on the marketplace.
Avatar holders also get first dibs on GoClub, a members-only community centered around private events. It's still rolling out gradually, so a few lucky holders might catch some before it's fully live for everyone.
How to Get the Most Out of It
Terms and reward rates across these programs can change, and some numbers here (the Simple Earn TH bonus especially) are explicitly temporary. Your best source for current details is always the Promos section in your GoMining account.
