GoMining × Ki Smith Gallery: When Art Meets Bitcoin Mining

From February 28th through April 5th, GoMining will take part in a contemporary art exhibition in New York in collaboration with Ki Smith Gallery, presenting a new concept that connects fine art with Bitcoin mining.

The exhibition, Torrente by contemporary artist James Reyes, introduces a unique format: each artwork in the collection is paired with a GoMining digital miner.

A New Dimension of Art Ownership

At GoMining, one of our core strategic directions is bringing Bitcoin into everyday contexts, all of which are supported by our all-in-one Bitcoin app.

Each piece in the Torrente collection includes a GoMining digital miner (50TH/s,130TH/s or 145TH/s), designed to visually correspond with the artwork it accompanies, making the miner itself part of the collectible experience.

After purchase, collectors receive an activation link, and the miner is added directly to their GoMining account, where it begins operating immediately.

This approach introduces a dual-layer ownership model:

  • A physical artwork with cultural value
  • A digital miner generating Bitcoin rewards

By embedding mining into the artwork itself, the exhibition challenges traditional perceptions of static ownership and introduces the concept of dynamic, income-generating collectibles.

Bitcoin in Culture, and in Finance

This initiative is part of GoMining’s broader push to make Bitcoin more visible to mainstream audiences. Art spaces, galleries, and cultural venues attract collectors, creatives, and audiences who may not typically engage with crypto or mining infrastructure.

By meeting these audiences in familiar environments, we create an accessible entry point to Bitcoin. As GoMining’s first collaboration within the art world, the New York exhibition serves as an experimental format and a foundation for future cross-industry initiatives.

The exhibition will be open at Ki Smith Gallery, 170 Forsyth Street, New York, from February 28th to April 5th, inviting visitors to experience a new concept where Bitcoin utility and art converge.
