Inside EBC11 Barcelona: Where Builders Play and Bitcoin Connects

EBC11 turned Barcelona into a meeting point for the people shaping crypto’s future. As a Platinum Sponsor, GoMining joined the European Blockchain Convention from October 16 to 17, bringing its interactive Bitcoin experience to Europe for the first time.

With more than 6,000 attendees, 300 speakers, and 200 sponsors, EBC11 gathered a crowd focused on building, not just talking. Over two days, founders, investors, and innovators shared ideas, launched collaborations, and shaped the next steps for Bitcoin and blockchain infrastructure.

The conversations were clear and grounded.  Bitcoin is no longer an outsider technology; it’s becoming part of the foundation for finance, energy, and digital ownership across Europe.

For GoMining, this event was about showing what the next chapter of Bitcoin looks like beyond mining: collaborative, transparent, and built on real participation.

What Is EBC11?

The European Blockchain Convention is one of Europe’s defining crypto gatherings, a space where builders, innovators, and institutions exchange ideas that shape the continent’s digital future.

Held at Barcelona’s Fira Center, one of Europe’s largest and most important exhibition venues, this year’s edition gathered global leaders to challenge the idea that Europe is falling behind in blockchain innovation.

Across two days, more than 100 sessions explored tokenization, DeFi, institutional adoption, AI, and Bitcoin’s expanding role in the global economy.

That balance between vision and utility is what makes EBC11 unique, and what made it the perfect stage for GoMining to show how accessible Bitcoin infrastructure can power this next phase of growth.

At the heart of that atmosphere was the GoMining booth: a space designed to invite people to play, connect, and experience Bitcoin in motion.

At the Booth: Bitcoin, Energy, and Play

Before the conference began, the GoMining team started setting the tone for the week with their signature energy and creativity..

Even before doors opened, the booth drew attention with a familiar face: the maskedBitcoin Man,” seen roaming the convention floor and sparking curiosity.

Once live, the booth glowed purple against the backdrop of the Fira.

From custom merch being printed on-site to puffy Bitcoin giveaways that became instant collectibles, everything about the space felt approachable and alive.

By the time the games began, the booth had become a landmark where people stopped to chat, play, and rediscover how fun Bitcoin can be.

The Satoshi Game Returns

After its success in Vegas, the Satoshi Game made its European debut at EBC11. The format stayed simple, but the excitement grew stronger.

Every player had a single goal: beat the Game Masters and earn satoshis.

Over two days, 424 players joined in, stacking more than 10 million sats, earning over 5,000 tickets, and cheering each other on.

Laughter, close calls, and spontaneous applause turned the booth into one of the liveliest corners of the event — Bitcoin fun at full volume.

A Broader Vision: From Mining to BTCFi

Between conversations and gameplay, GoMining’s leadership shared a glimpse of where the company is heading next.

In his interview at the booth, CMO Vadim Soloveychik spoke about GoMining’s evolution into a full Bitcoin ecosystem powered by more than 10 million TH and millions of users worldwide. He also explained the company’s move toward Bitcoin Finance, describing why Bitcoin holders need something simple, secure, and intuitive — not a replica of Ethereum’s complex playbook.

Moments That Made EBC11 Unforgettable

Some of the most memorable moments at EBC11 came from the people themselves, the players, collectors, and long-time GoMiners who brought their own spark to every interaction.

The “Snap, Post, and Win” contest filled feeds with laughter and creativity, capturing EBC11 the way our community saw it: up close, playful, and full of energy.

Everyone going wild for the Satoshi Game

🎯 And yes, the line for the plush doll was that long

Moments like the one when a long-time member became a GoMining Ambassador reminded everyone what a community looks like when it’s built on genuine connection.

GoClub’s First Private Gathering

During EBC11, we hosted the first-ever GoClub event.  A private gathering for Avatar and Key holders at the iconic Familia Torres Winery near Barcelona.

Guests enjoyed a vineyard tour, dinner, and exclusive gifts, marking the official beginning of GoMining’s private community for collectors and long-time supporters.

More than a meetup, it was the start of a new chapter — where holding a GoMining Avatar opens doors to insider events, rewards, and experiences that go beyond mining.

Stay tuned — all GoClub members and Avatar holders will be invited to the next private gathering.

To celebrate the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona, GoMining unveiled the Barcelona Digital Miners Collection. This limited edition was designed to mark a special milestone in our journey through Bitcoin events worldwide.

The drop quickly became one of the most talked-about highlights of the convention. Attendees posed with their prizes, shared photos from the booth, and left knowing that every win in the Satoshi Game could become more than just a moment of fun:  it could turn into real Bitcoin yield long after the event ended.

GoMining on Stage: Voices for Bitcoin’s Future

While the booth buzzed with games and community moments, GoMining’s leadership was also making waves on stage — bringing the conversation about Bitcoin’s future to the institutional level.

At the Bitpanda Main Stage, CEO Mark Zalan joined Bilal Jafar of Dow Jones for a fireside chat titled “BTCFi: Demand Is There, Users Aren’t. What Are We Missing?”. A deep dive into what’s still blocking mass adoption and how better infrastructure can bridge the gap — outlining GoMining’s next phase of growth.

Not long after, Jeremy Dreier, Chief Business Development Officer, took the OKX Stage for “The Future of Bitcoin” — a powerhouse discussion alongside Michael Ashby (AlgoQuant), Aydin Kilic (HIVE Digital Technologies), and others.

Together they explored how mining and ETFs are reshaping the decade ahead.

Finally, Fakhul Miah, Head of Institutional Business Development, joined “RWA Adoption: Hype or the Next Trillion-Dollar Opportunity?” — diving into how Bitcoin-backed yield and tokenized infrastructure could redefine on-chain capital.

Across every stage, the message stayed consistent: Bitcoin isn’t just sound money; it’s sound infrastructure.
