Step-by-step instructions:

1. The craziest moment came at the end. All this time, I thought the problem was with the drive motor, but it turned out to be the circuit board. It had burned out. To find an exact replacement, I would have had to wait weeks.

It seems that using a clean room in such cases is not really necessary — when the drive is restarted, dust still rises and disperses.
